We are happy to announce that Kai Art Center will open its doors once again on May 13th. Starting this week museums and galleries in Estonia are permitted to open to the public as part of the government’s easing of coronavirus restrictions. Please note that we will take all precautions into account and have secure safety guidelines for everyone’s wellbeing.
Our current exhibition is Anne Katrine Senstad’s new immersive neon light sculpture Radical Light. The exhibition is accompanied by a unique sound environment composed by acclaimed composer JG Thirlwell. “To experience a vast space of light and sound exclusively with few visitors at a time will for sure enhance all cognitive and perceptual aspects of the installation – and under the global situation we have all been through so far in 2020 – be quite an experience,” says Senstad.
In addition to the light sculpture, the exhibition presents Anne Katrine Senstad’s salt projection The Sensory Chamber as well as an interview with the artist by videographer Stella Saarts. Read more about the exhibition here.
Exhibition tickets are 8€/5€, with 5€ discounted admission for all every Wednesday. Tickets are available on our website and at the entrance.
Until May 13th, Kai Art Center’s Annual Pass is available with a discounted price of 20€ (regular price 25€). The annual pass gives you unlimited admission to all exhibitions and public programs for the next twelve months. In order to purchase an annual pass please contact us.
