18 Moments of Spring by Holger Loodus

In his solo exhibition 18 Moments of SpringHolger Loodus is showing two new video installations that provide a comprehensive spatial experience. In contrast to the constant haste and fragmentation of contemporary life, Loodus strives to slow down and, while doing so, also shares his ideas and methods with the viewers.

In the artist’s words, 18 Moments of Spring explores a current theme in his work, namely observing moments in a state of stopping time and reducing tempo. ‘With this exhibition, I invite the visitor into a state that allows them to observe their surroundings from the neutral position of a bystander. I see this as a positive solution to the current state of the world, where the relationship between substantial forces has led to overheating and we can no longer find effective methods to control the situation,’ explains Loodus.

To book personal exhibition tours please write to info@kai.center. We also offer guided education programs on the exhibition for students in Estonian, English and Russian. For more info contact: laura@kai.center.
